In June 2001, Brad graduated as the first surfing coach in Queensland to be qualifed for disabled. He is continuing surfing programs for Special Schools and Sporting Wheelies in Brisbane.
In July 2003, he was involved with a tour of international deaf surfers, surfing various locations from Perth to the Gold Coast.
